Dwingeloo, The Netherlands
The following photos were taken in 2004 during my attendance of the ASTRON / JIVE Summer School in Dwingeloo in the Netherlands. They show the 25-m radio telescope in Dwingeloo which was operated until 2000 and the Westerbork Synthesis Radio Telescope (WSRT), an interferometer made up of 14 individual 25-m dishes. A few impressions from the scenic Dwingelderveld National Park surrounding ASTRON and JIVE are included as well.
